Lower rating is for 6 month wait for order. Bookcases are of high quality and can be assembled relatively easily. The instructions could be clearer - probably a victim of a number of revisions -start from scratch and revise. However, they do accurately point to the molding assembly as the most difficult - it is unnecessarily so. This needs to be rethought - ditch the moulding fastener blocks for sure - they restrict shelf placement. The side moldings themselves make inserting the shelves difficult. Quality of the wood is high - very paint-able - I used Kills Premium and a Sherwin Williams cabinet paint - one coat each. Summary - long wait - quality product.

I am very pleased with our bookcase so much so, I ordered 2 more. The wait was 2 months but we checked other places that made real wood bookcases and their wait was as long, if not longer, than Woodlands. It was packaged very well and arrived with no damage. The assembly instructions are not the best with some of the detail not very clear, at least not to me. I figured it out and assembled the book shelf in about an hour and a half. Now that I know better how it assembles, I am looking forward to getting my other 2 so I can complete our bookcase wall!

We bought the bookcases at the beginning of the pandemic and Jerry the owner kept us informed all along the way right up to delivery. We now have them stained and installed and the are beautiful! Thank you so much for these beautiful bookcases!

I'm slowly building bookcase wall in my office, and this one was the first I purchased and assembled. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and value. It's nice to find a bookcase that's not made of particle board, but still doesn't cost and arm and a leg. It stained up nicely (which, yes, took some effort) and then assembled easily. It was also packed very well and arrived undamaged.

This is our second product from the company. Love the fact that it is all wood. Excellent finish and fits well. The instructions booklet can be a little more clear on the assembly steps
